The Incredible Adventure of Christian Marriage

Judy and George Clark who are co-directors of  Family & Adult Ministry and Counseling Services for St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Plano, Texas graced a group of Good Shepherd married couples with “The Incredible Adventure of Christian Marriage”.  This lively couple presented to a wealth of married couples  ranging from newly-weds to over 45 years. Judy and George showed that the spiritual and the psychological (human) sides of married life are complementary. In our Catholic marriages, we not only partake in the sacrament, but we ARE the sacrament lived in each moment of our lives. This was beautifully seen in how the symbols and traditions of the Mass are reflected in our marriage vocation. Through couple exercises, we were given useful tools to aid in fine tuning our married relationships in areas that tend to be sources of problems, frustrations, or irritations to a spiritually graced and fulfilling marriage. Judy and George illustrated their points with simple examples, many from their own marriage, often with the touch of humor that exists in all of us.
Judy and George’s presentation was another program for helping to enrich married couples. It was sponsored by Good Shepherd’s Marriage Enrichment team.  -Michael and Christa
